The weekly Holiness Meeting (Worship) is held every Sunday in our chapel located on West Atlantic Drive in Freeport from 11 AM to 12 noon. Sunday School is between 10 AM and 10:50 AM.
Salvation Army Holiness Meetings are built around a time of musical worship that includes contemporary worship songs, traditional hymns and uniquely Salvation Army songs, and the reading and teaching of the Bible. Our purpose is to help people learn more about God and themselves, and to help them find eternal salvation through Jesus Christ and to experience the blessing of what our Methodist tradition calls "Entire Sanctification" or holiness.
Women's Outreach Ministry strives to reach women (16 and above) and give them a variety of opportunities to become equipped in ways that will strengthen their homes, their societies, and ultimately their nation. Our goal is to bring women into the knowledge of Jesus Christ, encourage their full potential in influencing family, friends, and community, equip them for growth in personal understanding of life skills. The ladies meet between 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM on a determined night of the month. Call us at 242-352-4863 for dates. We would love to hear from you if you are interested.
Our Summer Day Camp is held every July for children ages 7 – 12. The camp is led by a Salvation Army volunteer team from Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, USA. Camp times were from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Each day started with The Bahamas National Anthem and the pledge. A daily Bible verse was presented and an explanation of that verse was outlined.
Extra activities were planned for throughout the week. These activities included a movie time, a water sports day, a day at the beach, and a trip to The Bahamas Maritime Museum.
The Salvation Army Summer Day Camp is provided free of charge to children who cannot afford a paid camping experience.
