CALL FOR DATES

(7 PM – 8 PM)

Ladies Home League, also known as Women’s Ministries, strives to reach women (16 to 96 years of age) and give them a variety of opportunities to become equipped in ways that will strengthen our home, our society, and ultimately our nation. The group meetings are based on worship, education, fellowship, and the service needs of women. Our goals are to bring women into the knowledge of Jesus Christ, encourage their full potential in influencing family, friends, and community, equipping them for growth in personal understanding of life skills, and to address issues that affect women and their families in their world. Our meeting times are 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM twice a month on a Wednesday. Call us at 242-352-4863 for dates. We would love to hear from you if you are interested.

Summer Day Camp

July 3-7, 2023

July 3-7 this year, children ages 7 – 12 participated in our summer day camp. The camp was led by a Salvation Army volunteer team from Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, USA. Camp times were from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Each day started with The Bahamas National Anthem and the pledge. This was followed by a Bible verse and an explanation of that particular verse.

Extra activities were planned throughout the week. These activities included movie time, water sports, a day at the beach, and a trip to Lucayan National Park.

The Salvation Army Summer Day Camp is provided free of charge to children who cannot afford a paid camping experience.

Bible Study

Why do bad things happen to good people? Why should I go to church? Who is Jesus? How can I get rich quick? Am I going to heaven? Is hell a real place? What does my future look like? These questions and more can be answered during our Bible Study time. Send us an email if you are interested in attending.

Men’s Fellowship

The fourfold focus of the men’s fellowship aka men’s ministries is service, worship, education, and fellowship. We are men so we’ve added an additional focus which is, BIG EVENTS allowing us to participate in “Out of the Box” activities that should encompass the fourfold focus. This club is open to males 16 years and older and proposed meeting time is on the 1st Saturday of each month.  Contact us first if you are interested in attending.

Youth Activities

Every Sunday between 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM kids meet to enjoy a time for lunch, fun, and fellowship with each other. This program is opened to children 7 through 17 years old. This character building / educational development program helps children express their unique personalities and individual strengths based on Biblical principles. Many of the kids who attend this particular program also participate in the summer day camp. Call us at (242) 352-4863 or email us for more information.
